While most board games have just one designer’s name on the box, there are dozens, if not hundreds, of others who helped shape that game before it ever reached a store shelf.
Back in 2018, I couldn’t find a board game design community in San Francisco.
So I started one.
Every month, I host designers from around the Bay Area as they playtest each other’s prototypes, share honest feedback, and help turn rough ideas into games that are ready to pitch to publishers or launch on Kickstarter.
Join us on the last Thursdays of every month at Dogpatch Games in San Francisco’s Dogpatch District. More details at: www.goldengategamemakers.com
