Bracket Busters / Hoop Madness

Each year tens of millions of Americans fill out brackets and enter in a NCAA college basketball March Madness pool at their office, with friends, or online. How do we port that fun and excitement from the real world tournament to the tabletop space? Enter “Bracket Busters” (or “Hoop Madness”…not sure which I like more).

Players are the heads of collegiate sports conferences entering their schools into the annual national basketball tournament. In a classic bracket format, players go head to head with each other in hopes of advancing their team to the next round. While two players face off, the remaining players bet on whom they think will win. It’s a perfect blend of tactics and a party game-style feel.

Players roll dice, in a Yahtzee-like fashion, to determine the winner. Bettors are paid out. Losers sent home. Player with the most money after the championship game wins!
